"If you find your roots and nourish them, you will know longevity.
If you live a long creative life, you will leave an eternal legacy."
Tao Te Ching (Verse 33)
Is it possible to leave a footprint in eternity? This is something the creative mind grapples with on a daily basis. Is it narcissistic to think this way? What is our place in the universe? Science offers us a window to the birth of stars, but how do we open a portal to our souls? Does content trump context? Where do we begin and when life ends, where do we go? Is it the content of our existence that defines us, or the context, which is known only to the individual? Can anyone, even God, know who we are? What is my context and my responsibility in this grand universe?
